485 filed separately..help plz!!

Hi Folks
Here is my situations(my spouse's). I filed for my 485 in Oct 03, got married in jan 04 and filed my wife's 485 in apr 04. I got mine approved in oct 04 but hers pending. She did her fp in nov 04. I'm not clear about some things -

1) priority date - would her priority date be apr 04 or my I-140 priority date (Feb 01)?

2) Is any one in similar boat and waiting for wife's 485?

3) Most importantly what can be done to expedite her process if any? People talk about FBI name checks etc..is there a number where I could call and find out if her name check was done?

She is dependant applicatn so Periority date is same as ur., mean her visa is derive from ur catagery.

Little different than urs, I have pending 485 , and my spouse is in home country after approval I have to walk in follow-to-join path to reunite family.

btw, try this if u like,

use 800# phone and check ur status, after status there is option that if u have quesiton and if ur pettition have seperted blah blah, that connecte TSC directly, so u would get chance to talk with TSC officer directly,

If you are saying her priority date would be feb 2001 then it should had been approved by now right? so would I be able to use the "expedited processing form" to fax the request.
What criterion would she fall into if any, can you please share some knowledge about the "expedited process" and if it's effective..

I am also in the same situation as you. My family came from INDIA on 6th May 05 and my 485 was approved yesterday. I need to file 485 for them. How much complecated is this?? My stupid attorney saying she need to do some research on it... (ofcourse it costs $$$$)
