485 File Transfer

My 485 has been filed in TSC jan2002.
I am moving to philadelphia.

What is the process to transfer my file from TSC to vermont?
How long will this process take?
How do i track the transfer of the case?
Is this move a good one , considering the way things are proceding at TSC.

Same situation as defjam

I am in the same boat. I will have to move to Pittsburgh shortly and my I-485 with TSC was filed on July 2001. I would also appreciate if anyone could post the information that defjam is asking for.

T_C, can you think of any reason why your case was transferred to NSC??

Are you living or working in NSC area? Please give some more details of your case. Thanks.

T_C, TSC uses the standard computerized message for all transfers.

You will not be interviewed if your case was transferred to NSC. Just wait a couple of weeks and call the NSC AVM number. You should use your original SRC number (not LIN number) to check your status. Most likely you will be able to find your case. I am not sure if NSC would process your case based on your orginal ND in TSC or based on new ND in NSC.
