485 Fees

Hi All

I have to file for 485 and I will be paying from my pocket.

My lawyer is asking for $3500 for 485 , EAD and AP for me and my wife.

That includes INS fee and lawyers filing fee.

Is that reasonable?

I would say lawyers fees $1000 + around $800 for the INS fees is reasonable. The lawyers normally dont charge extra for filing the 485 for the spuse. But lets give him another $500. That makes it $2300 maximum.
Anything above that would be absurd.
