485 denied for my spouse and mines currently paused since there are no visa numbers available, any one had same experience

Just today My wife 485 status got updated as denied and mine and my sons were paused stating that they will resume once immigration visa numbers become availble.
Any one experienced this , any idea how long it takes ?

What category visa and what priority date? Sounds like you got retrogressed.

It's in EB1 category, and Priority Date is 2019. So that's doesn't seem to be an issue

We are yet to receive the reasoning. Just wanted to know if any ones faced the similar issue and how it went

Don’t know about the denial, but pausing pending immigrant visa numbers becoming available means either they retrogressed or they ran out of visa quota for the year. If the latter, they will restart in October.

I got the denial reasoning letter it says that they had sent an RFE in the month of Feb which was not responded.
But we dint receive the RFE at all. Any suggestions on the next step .
