485 - Courtesy copy,Passport Stamping Question.

I received a Courtesy copy of I-485 Approval.
my Lawyer got the original copy.

How good is the Courtesy copy for Passport Stamping ??
do i need the original copy ?

Has anyone experianced any problems ?

It is better you take the original copy for stamping purposes. You never know what kind of an officer you are going to run into. I got the courtesy copy too Saturday, and I am waiting for my lawyer to send the original approval notice.A courtesy copy is more like a courtesy information sent to you by USCIS letting you know that the original has been sent to you lawyer as you have been approved for permanet resident status.

Me too , I used the coutesy copy the original is with me. They took the courtesy copy along with my EAD and APs.

Go with the courtesy copy and you should be just fine.
