485 Case Number

When you apply for 140/485 concurrently do you receive one case number for 485 or do spouses receive a number each? Thanks.

It's called Receipt number and not case number. Also each family member gets a separate receipt number(case number).

What is the difference between the Receipt number and case number? When tracking the pending case, what number do you refer to?

I think it's the same thing. The reason to my question was that we received the I-485 receipt notice but it has only one number. The application is on my wife's name so am I gonna receive a receipt notice too??? Thanks.

you should receive a receipt notice for each application you submitted.
