All, Just to let you know 485 for the my wife, son & myself was approved on the 11th of April.
My details are as follows:
PD Nov 2004
I140 AD Dec 2004.
485 RD Sept 30, 2005
FP results received Nov 1
Date petition current: April 1.
485 AD April 11, 2006. There was a LUD on March 24 (no message change).
LUD on April 11 - approved. LUD on April 12 - GC ordered.
Also thanks to the instructions posted on the forum I was able to speak to a very kind lady from the VSC in Jan '06 who confirmed that all security checks & specifically the name check were cleared by Nov 2005.
I think this is the best forum around on the GC process. The knowledge you can obtain here is unbelievable. I wish all the people on this forum still waiting for the elusive card, good luck.
