I was pleasently surprised to get 8 e-mails from USCIS on 22nd night that my I-485 was approved. Yesterday, I got another 5 e-mails saying that after approval a new card was ordered. My spouse also received similar e-mails.
I want to add couple of points regarding Birth certificate.
I have attached two affidavits from my parents and tenth class marks certificate and conduct certificate. No RFE was issued for non-availability certificate.
I was trying to get it from YourmaninIndia service. I approached them on June 15th and they are very prompt in replying to my query and pursuing my request. However, I no longer need the non-availability certificate and therefore withdrawing my request and requesting a refund.
My time line for I-485 is
RD: Mar 25
ND: MAr 29
FP: Apr 22 (Code 3)
LUD: Apr 29 (FP results recd and process resumed)
LUD: May 2 (Because USCIS updated my spouse EAD issuance)
LUD: Jun 22 (Approval)
LUD: Jun 23 (Card Ordered)
Although I have not posted a lot, I have read many of the posts and at times all the posts posted during those days. Thanks one and all for providing solace and comfort and valuable information. I especially enjoyed donkeykong's updates.
