Congrats!, that was a quick one!. You gotta to be lucky!!!

Do you know exactly when did you complete your FP1 in Sep ?

Congrats buddy!
do you remember what the priority date of Substitute labor was?
I strongly suspect that your labor would have had an old priority date which would have triggered the whole 485 process.

Oh my gosh! I didn't realize myself... thought it would be a typo... you got approved in the SAME Year, you should be awarded LUCKIEST PERSON of the year.

I am not surprised by this approval at all as it is very clear that VSC IIO's have gone really crazy and started to approve cases in LIFO order.

Immigration Gurus,
Do you think his labor PD of 2001 helped him to get approval eventhough 485 RD is only 2004.

There was a mention that USCIS is thinking of starting to use PD again. May be this approval is related to that
 
If LIFO is the new rule at VSC instead of FIFO, maybe we should all withdraw the application and refile!!! :eek:
 
my 2 cents

My theory is that the USCIS is approving all "easy" cases asap. Remember they changed their FP rule to do it when the case is ready, notice how varied the time for getting the FP for people with same RD. So as long as you have a copybook case, you can expect your case approval soon. If you have anything out of the ordinary - expect delayed FP. and in case you have a name that matches a criminal/terrorist - then expect a delay after getting FP.
