Hi All,
My I-485 which had been pending at vermont center has been approved

ND-08/17/2001
RD-10/12/2001
Approved 05/28/2004

It has been a long wait.But finally approved got passport stamped last friday at New york service center.

Passport stamping experience at NY city

Reached INS center(NY City) at 9.00AM
They had issued a ticket and had to wait 30 mins to be called
When my no was called they took my finger prints,EAD card, AP,I-94, 2 Immigration style photos and signatures.
Then had to wait until 1.30 before my number was called again to collect my passport.
No questions asked, mkae sure to check the stamp on ur passport whether the right A# has been written on the passport.

For how many years (/months) did they approve(GC/stamp) in the passport?
And did the officer tell you the time it takes to get plastic card?

Thanks. Do you have to submit EAD and AP? How was it written on your 485 approval notice? Mine doesn't mention EAD and AP at all.
 
Hi Vermont9,

Can you give more detailed experience with Stamping on PP at NYC, for example how long was the queue, why did you have to wait till 1:30 for getting your PP back, which floor do we need to go for stamping and other details???
