485 approved without most recent FP. Is there a problem?

Hello Experts,

Need your advise on the below:

My spouse's 485 was recently approved and card production was ordered. However, my spouse did not receive a most recent FP request. The last FP request received and done was in 2007. Will this cause any issues later?

No. Sometimes they "refresh" the old prints right before they expire, so they don't have to bring you in for fingerprinting again.

However, the card hasn't arrived yet. It is possible they could put the card on hold and send another fingerprint notice, and your spouse will have to give fingerprints again before they mail the card.
