Hello,
Our 485 got approved yesterday. I havent yet recieved the letter from uscis by mail just saw the online status change. My husband is travelling in India on an H1-B visa. When he re-enters, can he just re-enter with his H1-B or does he need to come through the GC lines. If the latter what documentation does he need ?

Also, I was told I need to take an appointment from DHS for a passport stamping. How long of a wait is it usually ? Should I wait for the letter from DHS first or can I just walk in with printouts of the online notification ?

thanks

If ur 485 is approved and if u r leaving country without AP it can be risky.
You may not be allowed to enter on H1B. Carry ur AP.

PP stamping can be done within a week also depending on the local office schedule. U need infopass for stamping.
