485 Approved (RFE - I-140 Redo case)

Exactly 4 weeks after my ammended I-140 was approved, last night
I heard on the AVM that my I-485 has been approved (and exactly
1 year ago was my I-485 notice date)!

RD: 8/07/2000
ND: 8/25/2000
AD: 8/24/2001
WAC-00-246-5xxxx,
PD: 12/1998 - EB2, RIR
Spouse\'s 485 also says "Approved" on the same day.

The RFE was issued in Feb 2001 as the company name changed between
I-140 and I-485 stage (even though everything else remained unchanged)
The 140 was filed in Feb 2001 and approved last week of July.

Lawyers office declined to send the copy of the 140 approval notice
as they insisted that the INS mailroom was swamped and it would take
weeks if not months to open non-application and non-RFE related mail.

Never spoke to IIO, Not on Ciba\'s list.

I would like to say to those people who have had the misfortune of
getting an RFE during the 485 stage - your day will come - soon!
Dont lose hope.

Congratulations on your approval after a long wait.
I have similar case details as yours and am still waiting. My I-140 was filed on March 16 01 and is not approved yet, your approval gave me some hope.

Your apprval gives some for the waiters like me,
My RFE was in Feb-01, replied in March and still waiting.

My amended i-140 : wac-01-123-xxxxx.
