Question

congrats..

A questions for gurus...is this thing about 15 month validation period for FP true? Is it true if it expires before 485 approval, cis issues a 2nd FP before any approval can be made on 485?

Is this based on others experience or did someone actually verify with an immigration lawyer?

Please respond. (Am not trying to start a new theory. Everyone seems to be asking about FP dates of approved applicants, I wonder)

Yes. I believe that is true. 485's might be getting adjudicated at/around expiry of FP1. It is one of the existing theories. And, it does make sense.

That's ridiculous. :) Just kidding.
Thats great. Congratulations!! Enjoy your freedom.

Congrats and Good Luck.

and yes, it is true, CIS is trying to avoid FP2, so every month they start processing applications whose FP1 is about to expire. I repeat just START, but of course they never complete processing all such applications and then the next month they move on to the next batch. This seems to be the trend for the trend for the past 9-10 months that I have watching closely.
