485 approved on JUne 27 no card yet I551 stamped for 2 months only

We got the 485 approved on June 27th, 2007. No card sent yet. We went to the local office and they stamped our passport for 2 months only.
told us to come back again if we do not receive the card. I am totally clueless.
thoughts?

Did you get the "card production ordered" or "card mailed" email?

If you don't get it by the time your 2 months is almost about to expire, you will have to file form I-90 with the condition "card never received" so they will send another card (or send it the first time, if they never sent it before), and go for another stamping so you have proof of status while you wait.

But before then, once you reach 30 days after approval you can call USCIS customer service and see if they will do anything about it.

Guys,
I am in the same boat.My case was transferred to the local office and then I received my approval on Jun28,but did not receive the cards yet.I spoke with the Customer service yesterday and she advised to call back once the 30 day period elapses even though it was written 6 months on the 485 approval.
Thoughts?

Same Here

Same here for my wifes case. Received notice for approval on Jun 27, nothing afterwards, spoke to customer service, was told to call after 30 days. Also something about biometrics missing, no picture or signature is to be found in USCIS system, most probably will have to go again for biometrics, sometime between 30 and 90 days.
