My 485 has been approved. Here are the details.
EB3 - INDIA
PD - June 97
485 RD - 09/24/99
485 ND - 10/18/99
FP - 11/18/99
AD - 03/16/01
No RFE.

Thanks to this forum and esp. to myladoor at ImmiTracker, I was able to keep my sanity throughout this ordeal. Myladoor, please add my details to your site.

The AVM changed to "Your case has been approved...".I haven\'t received my approval notice yet.

Chicago Stamping Experience:

Received courtesy approval notice by mail on 03/21/01. Passpost stamped at Chicago on 03/26/01.

Stood in line 8:40 am. Had to wait for 20 min outside in the cold in the line. Went inside at 9:00 am. Reached the info counter at 10:00 am. Got a number. Waited for 20 min in the waiting hall before all the EB passport stamping cases separated out and taken to a separate room for processing. 30 people were ahead of us. Called to the processing desk at 12:30 pm. Got my passport stamped and fingerprint taken. I was told I will get the card in six months.

2 photos, Approval Notice, I-94, passport were needed. The officer asked for my old passport, any EADs and Paroles. The officer retained the parole and EADs. Struck out the US Visas in the old passport. The stamping process took just a few minutes and no questions were asked.
