485 approved next day after 140 approval

I have been watching for a long time but this is the first time posting. I recently got my 140 and 485 approved. Please see below for my history for your info. The RFE was about the third prong of NYSDOT tests, specifically requested letters from high ranking federal gov. Submitted 8 letters initially (4 from members of national academies), which were almost useless. Submitted additional 5 letters after RFE (2 from federal gov).

I was pleasantly surprised my adjustment was approved just a day after approval of I-140. I guess that's because all biometrics was done earlier right after the initial filing.

Good luck to you folks who are still in the waiting. Don't know much but happy to answer any questions.

Congrats!

Besides non-retro I am guessing you are from a "first-world!!!" country or some country which US considers harmless. For the rest there is this long wait of FBI security checks :rolleyes: :)
