HI EVERYONE . HEARD A LOT ABOUT U GURU\'S OUT THERE. NEED SOME ADVISE. ANY INPUTS WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRICIATED.

GOT MY 485 APPROVED ON 5/15/01 BY THE IMMIGRATION JUDGE IN CALIFORNIA. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT I NEED 2 EXPECT NEXT & HOW LONG A WAIT BEFORE I HAVE MY GC IN MY HAND. I GUESS SEEING IS BELIVING.

Congrats on the approval Dave!

As I understand it, you and/or your lawyer will get a confirmation letter with instructions for passport stamping. After the stamp and another 6 months of waiting you will get your card in the mail.

ProActive is right -- wait for the approval notice to arrive.
It will tell you where to go and what to bring to stamp your
passport. The green card will need a few more month to process,
but the stamp is the proof of your PR status.

If you are new here, please go to CSC tracking website to
check out plastic card tracking list. You will have some idea
how long you have to wait before you can expect to get a final
precious card in hand.

could you please give more details about your case - u say about a immigration judge - did u have to appeal in court???

thanks for ur input. i am new 2 this site. is there any interview during the passport stamping. what happens there. i am really scared of interviews.
also is there anything which can go wrong at this stage which will prevent me from getting my gc.
also please guide me how 2 go 2 the csc tracking website.
