No RFE, No calls to IIO, checked status about a month ago.
After 3 years and 9 months of waiting me and my husband got our approval notices in the mail yesterday. Been a frequent visitor to this site for the past year or so and thanks to everybody for the useful information and thanks to Mr. Khanna for maintaining this site.
We went to the Baltimore INS this morning and got our passports stampped.
We were in Baltimore at about 9:00 got our pictures taken at a liquor shop close to the INS building called harbor liquor and then went into INS at about 9:30. The lady at the counter was quite courteous. She took our approval notices, passports and the pictures and she took our finger print, stamped our passport and we were all done before 10:00 A.M. There were not many people may be because it was friday.
I am glad that the ordeal is finally over. I wish everybody who is still waiting good luck and hope you will get yours soon too.
