Hi

This morning when i opened my emails and found 5 magic emails from TSC that my 485 has been approved on Spetember 28. (Spouse is still pending).

I am so glad to see your approval. It has been such a long wait for you but its over now. Your wifes approval will follow soon ...

As for the next steps, if your Bio-Metrics have been done recently (within the last year) then you will receive the card in the mail within 4 weeks. If your Bio has not been done or has expired, then they will send you an appointment for Bio shortly. You will get the Bio done and the GC will follow ...

You are right its been a long journey i have started my GC process in Nov 2000 and it took me about 6 years to get it approved all my other friends those who applied after me they are close to become Citizens.

Hope your will be get approved soon. :)

Had there had any LUD on your I-140 before your I-485 got approved?
 
Experience with Namecheck?

How was your experience with Namecheck? Did you consider filing a lawsuit against USCIS?

Last Month i have opened up a query with USCIS and got reply couple of weeks back that dur security check (Name) we cannot approved your case. and YEsterday they have approved it. So i don;t know what was went in couple of weeks.

My 140 was approved in 2001 and yes last month LUD of 140 was changed too.

What do you mean by " Last Month i have opened up a query with USCIS", write or call? How many times did you see the LUD on your I-140 after approval? Then how many days had passed before you saw LUD on your I-485? Why don’t you provide the details about LUD on your I-140 and I-485?
 
Congratulations for your approval! It was a long wait for you. My case is apparently under review and according to email from CSC I should get decision in 60 days. My NC was cleared on 7/06. I donot have any update on my I-140 since 9/05 and I was told yesterday by Rep that its under review but they are waiting for additional security checks. Since my I-140 is not touched from 1 year, do you think my case is still not under review?
I would really appreciate for your input.

Hi I called USCIS and asked REP that what is going on my case my PD is current for the last 4 months and i have done my Code 3 FP and Sent back the reply of RFE and still no reply from you guy for about 3 months. after that got back reply from USCIS that my case is still under review and waiting for a security checks that are resulting in delay of adjudication of peitition.
Regarding LUD for 140 it was changed only once.
LUd for 485 chnaged from 8/22 to 9/28

Just got emails that My Card has been ordered and also Good News that My wife has been approved too so we both got approved with in a week.

It is kind of strange I got email this morning about the aproval of my wife's 485 and card ordered for my self and this after noon i got GC in mail. :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool:

At last my Journey for a GC comes to an end and Journey for Citizenship has been started.

I am really thankful to this forum it helped me a lot

I am also really thankful to Saras , POJ and others too who always replied to my stupid questions. :) :)

Once again i will pray for you all and hopefully you all get GC soon.
