EB3 485 approved and questions

Received approval letter yesterday. Here are the details about some important dates in my application:

Priority Date 7/2001
140/485 11/2003 (EB3)
140AD 5/2004
name check 1/2004 (called congresswoman, wrote emails/letters to the FBI)
name check cleared 5/2005 (received FBI email in 6/2005)
called USCIS 6/28/2005 (was told to check back after 30 days if don't hear from them)
485AD 7/1/2005

I've asked my congresswoman to help expediate my FBI name check in 12/2004. Not sure if that made any difference. Asked lawyer to inquire my case status after knowing my namecheck was cleared, he told me the same thing as my online status, and he said he was unable to talk to anybody in USCIS who could help get a little more information. So I decided to do it my self on 6/28/2005. I called the number you all know and asked to talk to some officer since my application was ready for approval. Waited about 20 minutes and somebody picked up the phone telling me that I should call back after 30 days if I don't receive anything from USCIS. Asked if somebody looking at my case, he said "exactly".

My experience tells me that: 1. you are probably the only one who can help yourself, and lawyers (I hired my lawyer hoping him to be more helpful than the corporate one; I was obviously wrong) are totally useless  (or all too busy collecting money to really help you out); 2. stick with your congressman/congresswoman, they could help you with namecheck; 3. much less people came to this board recently, but some post did tell some trueth even though lots of people don't believe it (eg. a post said that the USCIS is processing EB3 case till some day in July...)

Now, can anybody answer my two questions?

1. I changed employment the end of last year (485 had been pending for over a year) and didn't notify USCIS; should I do it now? And how?

2. should I tell my current company to change my H-1B status to be greencard?

Thank you for reading!

1- You are already approved, no need to notify USCIS. Someone may ask you at the time of citizenship (although the chances are remote) and you could refer to AC21 at that time
2- Yes

2. should I tell my current company to change my H-1B status to be greencard?

Yes, you need to fill in a form (I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification). To do this, you got to wait until you receive your plastic card or get your passport stamped. Because these two are the proof accedpted in I-9 form.
