485 Approved and AP is pending

My spouses's 485 is approved but AP is still pending. Do we have to do anything on AP like cancelling the application or something?
 
When did you apply for AP?

I don't think you can do anything to recover that money for AP application. When was the AP applied for? Did the AP trigger the approval from what you have noticed?
