485 approved AFTER job change

My attorney told me about an approval after a Baltimore interview this week for one of his clients who changed job in August because her company went out of business.

This is good news for me because I\'ve changed my job last week and was concerned that the INS would not apply S2045 retro-actively.

He said he discussed the job change rule very briefly with the IIO, who concurred immediately after verifying with his superiors.

More detail, pls! It\'s really a good news. My lawyer keeps warning not to change job, blablabla, and my company is on the egde.

My attorney was not willing to part with any more details for obvious reasons. He just wanted to put my mind at ease because that was his first test case. He assured me that he is confident that my approval will go smoothly, should I get an interview.

Please note that in both instances the job descriptions remained the same (mine and his first test case).

I apologize for not being able to provide any more detail. My employment situation has been really agonizing of late, and I do not wish that on anybody. I just wanted to share this information with this group because there are more of you in the same situation. I\'ve been lurking on this group for a long, and I mean loooong, time, and I\'m glad to be able to share a bit of helpful and good news with you.

Thanks to all those faithful contributers to this group, and, of course, Mr Khanna for hosting us.

I will post my details once I get the news...

Just talked with a IIO. She was very polite and mentioned the law for changing the employment after 180 days of I485 is not in placed yet (What ever it means)and mentioned any changes of employment could jeoperdise the whole process.
