Hi,

I just went through the interview at San Jose office today (May 25). I did not have any specific experience with it. The interview just went smoothly and finally the officer stamped the passports of my wife, daughter and myself. I had my attorney accompanied us. When he asked the officer why this case is chosen to be interviewed, she said, it is just ramdonly selected.

So, if anyone get interview letter, don\'t be too nervous, and just prepare all the documents as required.

Thanks, Ciba, for all your efforts and if possible please add my name into the plastic card waiting list.

Hi frmpalo,

Congratulations. I will update your records in the interview list
and add your case to the plastic card waiting list shortly. You
have waited more than six months for the interview. Take a rest
and enjoy your freedom!

Congratulations Frmpalo!

Your message is very important for other people waiting for their interview notice. I checked Ciba\'s list and I see that your case was transferred in 10/00. Could you by any chance give us some more information, like time of the interview notice and other things you may know about the transfer.

Thanks a lot!

I do not know really why my case was chosen for interview, but whenever a case is chosen for interview, it should be tranferred to the local office. In my case, my case was tranferred to San Jose office on Oct/24/2000 and the interview notice was dated Mar/28/2001.
The only possible reason I can guess is that my wife\'s medical examination was incomplete because of her preganacy at the moment.

There will be check list for the documents to be brought for the
interview.
I do not remember exactly the questions being asked, because the whole interview took less than 15 minutes. She was writing done the information according to the documents I presented to her.
I remember she first confirmed the mailing address of us. Then she asked, how many years have you been married, how many children you have, what are the birthdays of your children?
what is your job description, (because my category is EB1 (outstanding researcher/professor))? How many people are at your level in your company? Do you supervise some people? It seems that she was not even care what I answered, because all the approval letters have been prepared already. She just go over my case and said: congratulations, your petition has been approved and I will stamp on your passports, the card may take eight months to be produced, if you do not receive the card within one year, please come and get stamped again.

Hope all those help.
