1st RFE : Aug 00 ( biographic info, employment letter... )
INS then finds out that company got bought over and sends,
2nd RFE : Nov 00 ( for I140 redo )
2nd RFE response RD : 11/30
485 approved : 12/18
I had been checking the AVM for the status of my I140 redo only, coz I thought that without the I140 redo approval, the INS wouldnt even touch my case. Received the letter of approval ( courtesy copy ) yesterday ( 12/26 ) stating that my case had been approved 12/18. The status of the I140 redo continues to be unapproved. So I am thinking that maybe all the INS needed was proof that I140 was re-filed under the new company name.
Next step, passport stamping.
