485 Approved after I-140 redo

I just got a phone call from my lawyer about an hour ago. My 485 has been approved after I-140 redo, they got both the I-140 and I-485 approval at the same time.

Ciba please update BHCSC on your list. Thanks for the good work you\'re doing and thanks to everyone who posts on this board it gives encouragement when it looks like the wait is never ending.

Passport stamped - Santa Ana

We got our passports stamped this morning at the Santa Ana Office.

We got there at 7:30 am and we got number 13 and they were currently serving number 9. It was much quicker than I expected, we were out of there by 8:30 with all (4) our passports stamped. I was told it is taking about 10 months to get the plastic card.

The wait at the social security office was much longer - about an hour.

The odd thing is I have not received my notification from the INS - even the AVM has not been updated yet!

if i live in L.a, can i go to Santa Ana INS instead of going to LA INS for passport stamping ?

I think you can. I have seen people posting that they drove to Santa Ana from LA.
