485 Approved after 5 years process.

Hi

My case has been approved.
LC Filing Date: 10/08/2002. Approved Date: 07/10/2006
140 filing Date: 10/15/2006. Approved with wrong date on 11/05/2006.
140 again approved with labor date:03/01/2007
485 filing date: 01/16/2007. Approved date: 06/21/2007.
Card mailed:06/23/2007.No lud's for 485.

What!!! You applied for the 485 in 2007 and got approved already? Are you EB1,2, or 3? India,China,or ROW? If you are from India or China or in EB3, I assume you ported the old priority date (2002).

Did the case status online show the "card mailed" message? There was no LUD for the approval itself, or do you mean there were no LUDs in the days leading up to approval?

this makes me believe that they alloted visa numbers to all cases first based on PD and then based on which case is READY to adjudicate. This might delight lots of people who got approved, but at the same time warns others who are not approved that they are STUCK for some reasons!
