485 approved after 140 Redo

Hi,
Atlast our 485s have been approved on the 28th Feb. WE have heard it on the AVM. Didn\'t receive the courtesy copies yet. I know how frustrating the entire process was as i applied 140 redo in september2000 and almost waited for 6mos for approval. Atleast the redo\'s were not on hold as everybody including myself thought, Goodluck govinda vinod,tailgate and others too!!! FYI i checked AVM today after Kurumurthy put his approval info and surprised to hear about our approval...

485 RD: April 2 1999
RFE: I140 Redo Sep 11th 2000
RFE Approved: Dec 5th 2000
485 approved: 28th Feb

Congratulations on your approval.
Could you post what is the I-140 redo related to. Was that because of your company name change ? Please do post clear details as it would take away some of the doubts people have on these RFEs.

Thanks a lot.
I have been hanging around this board for more than 3 years. I have posted my case details more than once.. but here it goes..
The RFE was issued due to a name change (just name change but not tax payer ID) and we had to redo our 140. RFE was issued in september and we submitted our details in september itself. It was approved in December and our 485 has been approved on the 28th Feb.

Please let me know if you need more info.

Congratulations!!!! You were probably the ONLY person with I-140 redo approved on or before the 1st week of December, still waiting for the approval. Congratulations once again....

Hi Sneha1,
thanks a lot. And My husband is not from Rapidigm. He is from comsys.
It had it\'s name changed from comsys - metamor - comsys again.
That\'s why we had the RFE.
