485 Approvals?

Hello all,

Offlate i hv been hearing that 485 are being processed within 2-6 months time at NSC. Infact in my company itself such approvals hv taken place.

However, if u look at the processing time chart it says processing jul 2003.

How does this system work? Are the newer 485 filings getting much faster approvals?

Any insight would be of immense help. Pls reply.

I must say that dates displayed at NSC processing time table at INS website are meaning less.Those dates misguided me too.

They are showing I-140 dates for Decenber 2003 in Eb1 category but i got approval last week when i filed in late 2004.

Yes thats true I-485 approvals are also coming random. Some are coming concurrent , some are in 2-6 months time.

I am sure even NSC authorities cannot explain how the system works.
