485 Approval Without Fp

I heard on the telelphone that my wife\'s I 485 was approved on the 12th of June whereas for my case it is the usual message that the case takes 180 days..........

I think the message is absurd.

ND was March 23,2000 for both of us.

Any thoughts!

I do not intend wasting anybody\'s time here. Just wanted to share the message I heard over the phone and that is it.

Are you sure it is not her EAD or AP? Anyway, please go ahead to make clear via talking an IIO.

Both me and my wife had recieved EAD and AP before June 12th.

I looked through all the papers and there is no reference to June 12th at all.

The EAD is valid from 06/03/00 - 06/02/01.

The approval as per the telephone message should have an earliar date, right ?

God knows what.

It is possible that you mis-typed your wife\'s EAC number (may be even one digit) and there-by heard another person\'s status message ?! Just a thought

No room for any error like this. I did it twice coz I did not believe what I heard and I still do not believe it. Tried to reach INS now but no luck

To be honest, I do not still understand PD.

Started the GC process in Mar 99, Got my I140 in less than six months time and applied for I485 after marriage in the month of March 2000.

Obtained EAD and AP. Traveling on AP.

I checked my records again and I do not see that I typed anything wrong. The message may be bull.

I think that you have enough info about my case.

Please let me know how much longer should I wait.

All the best. Priority Date is what you get when you first file your case with the INS.

Please let us know once you have confirmed your status with an Immigration Officer

I think I can reach God and have a chat with him, but quite impossible to get INS on the phone.

I tried like 20 times and gave up.

I will definitely post whatever I hear.
