485 approval without 2nd FP? HERE IS THE ANSWER!

Well, I was one of those guys who got RFE first without any
2nd FP notice, while the first one was already expired.

Today, I got the 2nd FP notice after answering to RFE.

So, those who're in a similar situation as me, you'd better
expect the 2nd or 3rd FP notice before your 485 is approved.
(if the previous one was expired)

RFE received by BCIS on Feb. 25. 04.

1FP has expired long time ago.

So far, I haven't got the 2nd FP notice. I'm kind of scare that the FP notice was lost. Especially, our company's attorney screws lots of people. For example, they receive FP notices, RFE notices and never let employee know. How can I check if BCIS issues the 2nd FP notice or not.

I heard FP is valid for 15 months, in your case, since they reviewed your case on March 12,2004, Isn't that within 15 month range? why would they issue 2 FP notice?
 
Mar 12, 2004 was right at the end of the 15 month period (assuming that the CIS received his 1st FP review on Dec 12, 2002). So to be on a safe side, they might want to run a new review.
 
2nd FP done today

Today I got my 2nd FP done though my appointment date is May 20, 2004. I went there around 2 PM. They were very nice. I asked them whether it is possible to do the FP before the appointment date and the lady replied positively to me that we could do today. Just took 20 minutes to do the paperwork and FP. USCIS already received my RFE.
I got applicant copy of FP notice. I think lawyer also gets one.

Now the waiting remains.

Answers to the questions:

- I got FP notice by regular mail directly delivered to me

- My case was an I140 and I485 concurrent filing

- In my case, the 1st FP info was received by USCIS on 12/11/02.
It's very possible that you'll get another FP notice soon, GC012002.

- laguna, I think you and I are in the same boat. I also did
the FP this morning. Nothing else to do but waiting.

- Myxa's case makes me worried though.

early 2FP and no luck

Went to the Oakland INS center for FP2 ahead of appt time and were asked to return on 5/4 (appt date).
Curious about what service center you went to

Me and my wife did finger prints in SJ center ahead of scheduled time: scheduled for January, did in December. No questions asked.
