Gurus,

I think I have a problem. My 485 was recently approved. 485 approval emails Recieved Dec 29th. Approval date listed as 12/22/05. It said approval notices mailed on Dec 22nd.

However I did not recieve my approval notice yet. My Attorney recieved One copy. If I am correct, isn't it mailed both to me and to my attorney. I am suspecting USCIS does not have my address correct.

I moved to a new address back in Sept 2005. I filed AR-11 promptly. After that I applied to renew my EAD from the new address which I recieved alright. What do you recommend I do??

My atty sent me the originals that they recieved. The notice was vry short. It said the case is approved ... my need Biometrics... no action required right now.. will send another notice to schedule biometrics. I feel I need to get my address straightened to be able to recieve these notices.

Also my atty suggests, i make an appointment with Infopass. I am not sure If I should go ahead and do that or wait for Biometrics and further notice.

Please advise.

I have not received an approval notice either. My application was approved back in August, 2005. I called TSC as soon as my case went beyond the processing time for a month or so and that is how I learned that it has been approved. There was not even a message on the online case status site. I have called them probably 5 times since then and each time I am told the same thing - your case has been approved, you should be receiving your card within a month.
I know this doesn't help much - just thought I'd share similar experience.

Hi
I finally got my approval notices at my new address. I caled the 800 Number and told them about address change and about my AR-11 filed in Sept. The lady said I should call back afrter 30 days. However within a couple of days the change in status online(LUD). The notices showed up in my mailbox yesterday.

I can understand your frustration.
Good Luck to you

I'm glad it worked out for you! I guess it doesn't make sense for me to try the same thing, because I have already received mail from CIS on my new address (I moved in March 2005) and I confirmed they have my correct address when I called them. And the most weird thing is that my daughter, who is a derivative on my case got her approval notice and card back in September. My wife and I are still waiting.
