485 approval notice

A quick question, my 485 was approved on 6 Sept, 05. it said in the LUD that a card was ordered. the LUD changed today (9 Sept), it said an approval notice was mailed to me. does this mean the card will be mailed with the approval notice? or they are two separate things?

They are two separate things. I experienced the exact same sequence of online notices as you. Both the notice and the card subsequently arrived on the same day, a couple of days after the online status changed from "card ordered" to "approval notice mailed". Congratulations, there's every reason to expect you'll be seeing both items in the mail soon. The card is the most important thing of course, but the notice is good to save carefully as backup evidence.
