485 Approval Notice Received

Hello Folks,

As I said in my earlier posting,, my 485 is approved and received the approval notice today. I would like to thank you all for contributing to this site by sharing your information. This site has given me lots of valuable information. I\'ll post my passport stamping experience once I am done with it.

EB2 INDIA, PD 4/1997, RD 2/26/2000, ND 3/2/2000, & approvaed on 4/26/2001.

you have recd ur Approval notice today. do they mention which day to go for stamping or you can any day go for stamping now?

And what are the documents needed for Stamping?

I will be going to the New York INS office. They mentioned that I should bring the approval notice, I-94, passport and 2 photographs. I guess I should take the EAD as well. It is mentioned that I can go for stamping on Fridays. Hope I answere all your questions.

Passport got stamped this morning from New York INS. It took only 90 minutes to get everything done. Nice feeling... My heartfelt thanks to all of you for sharing your experience. This site has been very useful for me in the past few months. Thanks to the folks who maintain this site... bye for now.
