485 Approval Notice Question

I received the 485 approval notices by mail but am currently in India on vacation. How much time do I have from the date of approval notice toappear at INS local office and complete the formalities?

Please let me know ASAP which will help decide my travel plans.

since your case is very close to mine wac 03 136 XXXXX I just wanted to know when your Fps were expiring and wat was your history of LUDS.

You should be fine. There is no specific time frame, Would be better if you can make it back at your earliest convenience and get your passport stamped.

At the PORT OF ENTRY they might do what they call a secondary review and will let you know that you should go to your local INS office and get the stamping done.

There is no timeframe. However, when you are approved you are already a GC holder. And USCIS does not like GC holders staying abroad for long time (they get suspecious about your PR intent). So if you in vacation for 1-2 months, that's fine. But if you come back to USA after 6 months without any good reason (vacation is not a good reason), then you could be in trouble.
