485 approval from CSC but PP stamping done in Midwest..HELP !!!

Hi Folks,

My 485 approval was from CSC but I live in the midwest. At the time of PP the officer indicated to me that he was going to send my I-90 paperwork to NSC and not to California. When I questioned that maybe he has to send it to CSC as my approval was from CSC he said that since I lived in the midwest my card would be made in the NSC.

Anybody in similar boat.

I got my PP stamped in Chicago but got my 485 approved in CSC. The officer never really told me anything about sending paperwork to NSC. I just about assumed that they will send it to CSC. I got mine stamped on July 5th. What about you
 
Mine was stamped in Oct 2001. Have you checked your AVM ?

He basically told me this " You have your PR/GC now. I have to send this to people who make the physical card. Since you live in Midwest we will send it to NSC" And then he proceeded to give me a sheet of paper with some NSC numbers on it and told me to call them if I did not get the card in 12 months.
Have you checked your AVM lately and if yes what does it say ?

Chicago INS have to send it to the service center where the I-485 approved from

Do you guys know whether they send it to the right Service center unless you tell them to do so? I got mines stamped in chicago but they supposed to send it to TSC.
 
CSC approval, PP in Cleveland, card received from CSC

Hi Guys,
MY AOS was approved from CSC on 07/06/2001. Had my PP stamped in weeks time from Cleveland, OH. On 12/10/2001, i received my GC from CSC.

Did your AVM at CSC ever get updated to Processing complete...

Hi SR,

Did your AVM ever change from "this case has been approved..." to "The processing s complete..." If yes how long did that take.
My PP stamping was also done in Cleveland but the guy insisted that he will send the paperwork to NSC

Absolutely did so but....

the dude at the counter insisted that he will have to send it to NSC where the card will be made as we lived in the Mid west. There was only so much I could do. My AVM hasn\'t changed since Oct 2001. What about yours ? Have you checked yours lately, if yes, what does it say.

I stamped my PP on the 12/19/01, I will check AVM in a month or so

You can call NSC and check wheather they has your I-89, if so tell them to send it to CSC (where your I-485 got approved). If NSC does not has your I-89, you better check with Chicago INS (where you have done your PP stamping) and do your PP stamping again.
