485 Approval and I-94.

Wanted to find about two things.

 1. Do you have to surrender your I-94 when you go for passport
    stamping after 485 Approval.

 2. If your I-94 expired .. but you were still here on 485 stage.
    Will there be any problems travelling after getting the GC.
