485 Approval & Disability insurence Question

I had a Fire accident and was in Hospital for 2 weeks; I am planning to Claim Short term Disability from my Employer\'s Insurence Company.
Will it have any Impact on my Pending 485 Case???
Gurus, Please advice thanks in advance.

Dont think so..

You are not a charge to the public or to the country if you claim Disability insurance for which your employer has paid premium. It is not social security or state insurance right?
