485 approvable without FPs?

Called VSC today. The represtentative was very courteous, but I didn't quite understand him. He said My FPs are unclassifiable, and name check is pending too. He think that my name check is pending is because without FP FBI has to run my name against a bigger database, hence the delay. He also think my 485 will be approved even my FP is not classifiable because my FP is bad is not my fault ( I have done that 3 times)? Is that true? Guys?
 
Yes, I called the same number, for some reason I was redirected to VSC. My case was files in June 2003. Now it is going to be delayed to no one knows when.

That is true....I have read some posts where 485 approved without FP..But name check is mandatory ....Noway around that
 
VSC agent told me that my name check is pending is because no eligible FPs are collected hence it takes longer to finish the name check. Is that true too?

Frustrated. :confused:
