485 and Visitor Visa

When you are in AOS status, you can apply for visitor visa for your parents or in-laws.If the visitor comes to USA for the first time, consulate will issue 6 months visa and if it's a second time, consulate will issue 10 years visa.
I applied visitor visa for my in-laws last november, they got 10 year visa.
Period of stay in US will be determined by the officer in POE.
I sent all the papers mentioned in www.immihelp.com to my in-laws to apply for visa.They got it...

But i don't understand the word "safe" in ur message.If you are in AOS status, you are eligible to apply for visitor visa.make sure EAD is valid when u r applying for visa.B'cos you have to send photocopy of your EAD.
