485 and marriage

Dear All:

Now that all dates are current. I am planning to file 140 and 485.
But i have plans of getting married in Jan 2008.
Can i add my spouse at any time during the processing of 485?
If i get my GC approved before marriage how can i get her to US?
How to delay processing of 485?
Shall i file both 140 and 485 together or shall i do file 485 after marriage?

Pls let me know on this.

In my opinion you should apply 140 and 485 ASAP. Your wife can apply once she is here. The sooner you apply the better your Received date will be, which will eventually help you in approval.

There is a very slim chance of your application getting approved, there are thousands of application before you. So, I think you are safe on that end. The only thing you need to make sure is that you bring your wife ASAP after marriage.... You are all set buddy.
