Can somebody please explain the issue with companies that
have undergone a name change/acquisition?
Messages on this board indicated that all 485 applications
sponsored by such companies were on hold pending approval
of some new regulation.
I searched through the INS notices/news etc that have been
posted here, but can\'t find anything that references this
issue (directly or indirectly).
I have gone through 4 acquisitions in the 5 years since
the GC process was kicked off (don\'t know if I\'m lucky
to have survived these or not
; I wonder what this
means for me!
I\'ve been unable to get through to the VSC phone system
for the past week, much less an IIO.
