485 Address questions......pl respond

I am using my friends home address for my 485/131/765 applications( all correspondence with INS).

But i am staying in different addresses based on my job.

Recently when i check my credit report, there the address showing is my current address..... that is true because all my other correspondence is with my current address.

What are the chances of checking the applicant's address during this long process.
If i need to show some identity with my address, what can i show.

Is it the good approch or better to file Address change with INS.

Appreciate your suggetions.

I don't think it is a matter of how long the process takes and whether you can get away with not telling CIS your real address.
