400 to 450 days processing of I140

Hi there every one:

I just checked my I140 case online and i found out that after being transferred from csc to tsc, it will take 400 to 450 days to process. Is this for real? Did anyone have the same situation as mine. Please give me infos. But also just today, i found out that there is now a premium processing for I140, is this true too?? Whoever has any infos related to my case. please post reply. This is my first time here.

Received in texas: March 29, 2006 (with a processing time of more than 450 days for I140 and more than 900 days for I485
 
yes, they started premium process fgor 140 but in your case , it is pending or 6 months already, so you should hear soon, if you are NIW, THEN THERE is no premium process, PP can be requested for existing regular application too, consult a lawyer
 
I got the same message when i checked 20 days Back, Now i am getting message saying they are going to process ASAP.
 
Premium processing for I-140 has not started yet but will happen sometime in the future. Please see the text below:

The USCIS issued a notice in the Federal Register on May 23, 2006 expanding the types of cases that will be eligible for the Premium Processing Service. The current premium processing program provides expedited case review of certain employment-based nonimmigrant cases in exchange for an additional USCIS filing fee of $1,000.

The Federal Register Notice designated three widely-used forms for eligibility for the Premium Processing Service. These are the I-140 (Immigrant Petition filed by the employer for an employee), the I-539 (Change of Status Application), and the I-765 (Employment Authorization Application). The designations for the program are effective immediately, but the timeframe for premium processing to be made available for each type of case is yet to be determined. No indication was given as to when the procedure is likely to become available, but we will watch for further updates on this matter. The procedure will be the same as already exists for certain nonimmigrant cases. The Form I-907 will be used to request premium processing, accompanied by a filing fee of $1,000. In exchange for this additional filing fee, the USCIS will review the case within 15 days of receipt. The USCIS could reach a decision within that timeframe or they could issue a Request for Evidence (RFE). If an RFE is issued, the USCIS has 15 additional days after receipt of the RFE response to make a decision.

The "400 days" is an artificially inflated number. My case was transferred
from CSC to TSC on the same date as yours. (BTW my filing date was also
the same as yours.) I got an email saying that TSC will need 400 days
to process my 140. Guess what, the 140 was approved within one month of
that email!

(And the 485 was approved one week after that, on June 6, 2006. I had
received an email saying that CIS would need 900 days to process
the 485.)
