4 months... no plastic card

Hello all,

my passport was stamped on 06/11/03 in newark,NJ. My wife received her card with my Date of birth(stupid BCIS) . Still iam waiting for my card.

I called the BCIS on friday, they told me that it will take 6 months to 1 year for the first card.(Same standard message)

Iam planning to visit India this December. Can i go with my Stamp.

Does any one got the card, who got stamped in those dates.

It takes atleast 5 months(my cousin got his approval in the middle of May and he got his card 2 weeks back), so hang on.

Yes you can go outside the country with the stamp, but you may be subjected to secondary inspection at the POE, which is a standard procedure. Take all the necessary papers with you and you should be fine. Enjoy the trip...
