Hello,
I had my AOS interview before my biometrics in Houston back in Feb, the officer said we don't have biometrics yet so he snet me to have my 1st biometrics done. He also told me if my FP is cleared, I will get my green card 2-3 weeks later.
Unfortunately, my FP didn't go through, it was unclassifiable, so we got a call from the same interviewer informed us to redo it. We got the notice from the local office and weback to Houston did my 2nd Biometrics.
3 weeks after my 2nd biometrics, I got another notice from USCIS of Biometrics (code 1) again. At first I thought they might mail me the ASC notice I should get before my interview, but after calling the 800#, all the answer I got was to go back to Houston and show up for the FP.
I really don't want to go all the way down there (3-4 hours driving at least, one way), but they wouldn't give my the local office number so I can find out what happen to my case.
Does anyone know why I got a ASC notice from USCIS instead of local office? Or how do I find out if my FP is cleared?
Thank you so much
Patty
