3rd FP received after the scheduled date - URGENT

hi All,


I really need your guys advise and input on this one. Yesterday i received this strange letter from BCIS, i opened the envelope and inside that i found another envelope that had my 3rd Finger printing notice this was sent to my old address and has apparently returned to the BCIS back again.

Then comes the strange part some one had taken that returned envelope and put that in another envelope and sent it to the right address. (looks like they found the correct address from the yellow stickie outside the old envelope put by the post office)


Becuase of all the above mentioned activity i happen to received the 3rd Fringer printing notice after the scheduled interview date (12/23/2003)...!


My question to you guys is...

1. can i still go for the 3rd Finger printing

2. My wife has not got anything yet...? (may be got missed in the mail).. can i also take her with me anyway..?

Talked to the lawyer he says he did not receive any notice from the INS...

If you did FP within 3 months and the result has been forwarded to BCIS, no need to do it again. FP is valid for 15 months. Also if you pay attention, in the FP notice, it says something like: if you have done FP within 3 months, disgard this notice, bla bla...

If you do need to to take FP. It is OK to do it after the scheduled date, as long as it is within 3 months of that date.

yup they are remailing those letters after they get returned from old address. Same thing happened for me for my 2nd FP.
 
if it is the 3rd FP letter, you should go and do it.

I got my 3rd FP letter to. 2nd is at July 2003, and 3rd is at Nov, 2003.

My attorney said it is not good to query that, just go ahread to do it.

after my 3rd FP I got RFE on Nov 15th.
