3rd FP notice received

Hello,

today i received 3rd FP notice. I had done my 2nd FP on March 4th, 2004. I am confused. Please help me what to do with it.

Also for my confusion my on-line message changed on april 7th.
It says they received response to a RFE but we never received any RFE.

Please help me to understand this.

On April 7, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 365 and 540 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

My online message also changed on 04/07/2004. I don't whats up with them. A week prior to that my wife received 3rd fp notice. My wife went to Newark and did it. I would say go and do it. It doesn't hurt. Is your 3rd FP notice on a similar type of paper as your second one was or is it on a different type of paper. My wifes was on a different type of paper. It seems it was sent by some Imigration officer.
 
Don't have the link currently, but there was a computer glitch that generated multiple FP notices without any merit, in other words, you guys could have gotten those. I agree with the previous poster, there is no reason you should not go, if it is convenient for you. It saves you time in calling the 1-800 number and trying to explain what happened.

Also, there was a paper shortage that was even mentioned by Mr. Yates as one of the cases of backlogs, so you might have gotten FP notices on paper that might not have been "official". I do not know or can speculate on the legalize of this, but if the invitation is not proper, maybe the FP itself is invalid, therefore the second notice.
