3rd finger printing request came in

I did 2nd finger printing 2 months back and now I have got 3rd finger printing notice. MY I-485 is still not approved with ND/RD of April

Does this mean anything. Can I ignore this FP by calling some number or is it better to go for 3rd FP.

BTW , do you think the NY FP centers will be open on Jan 2nd i.e tommorow
 
I too got 3rd FP notice (4Dec.03) with in 4 months after completing the 2nFP.I took the notice to Boston office - told them I did 2nd FP on 5thAug.2003 . They check the records and said I am all set my 2ndFP is valid. They also wrote 'Cleared' and 'completed 5thAug.03' on the 3rdFP notice. They said it's a computer mistake.

Before I went to the Boston office, I called FBI to check if my 2ndFP was cleared. They said it's cleared and sent to VCS on the same day.

It's better to get something in writing on 3rd FP notice as a proof that it's a mistake.

3rd fp within 1 month of 2nd fp

i went for 3rd fp and asked why we got fp again within 4 weeks of 2nd fp. they told me that it was a case of bad finger prints.

they did not check anything and gave this answer .

another person with similar situation asked same and got the same reply.

one thing , i did observe was that during FP my old address appeared on the screen and since I had put my new address on the form they gave me at the center, they just updated my new address. I am hoping this will update the address universally in their systems
 
3rd FP

My 2nd FP daed july 03 was sent to my old address, diff state. Even after filing AR11 and calling BCIS numerous times, the system still have not been updated. Manage to do my 2nd FP in the state/ center that I am in now and they updated my new address in the system. I received my 3rd FP in dec 03, this time, it was sent to my new address. Thank goodness. Am hoping that the system updates my new address universally.
