3rd EAD approved yesterday

online status says that my EAD was approved on aug 6th. receipt date for this EAD was july 11th.
 
I don't get it...why couldn't they approve your case (instead of approving the EAD)...sounds ridiculous...RFE, 2nd FP, 3rd EAD...BCIS sucks....

How many months before you applied for 3rd EAD ?

Mine is going to expire in Jan 2004, I was wondering if I should apply 4 months before its expiry ?

Its always better to file before 4 months. So you end up in safe side. i.e. even if you dont get approval you can get Iead.
So pls apply like may be Sept end or OCt first week depending on your date of exp on Jan 2004
 
That means I should apply for my 3rd EAD by the end of OCT.
THe current one will expire in March 04.

BUT hope I can get approval before Nov.

My EAD receipt date is july 1 still not approved yodha looks like u got it in record time.........mine too 3rd EAD ...Iam nov 2001 filer no 2nd fp no rfe till this date
